Garage Bids does not

• •Own vehicles listed on the platform
• •Take title to vehicles
• •Take possession of vehicles
• •Act as the vehicle seller
• •Process or hold the purchase price of the vehicle
• •Transfer vehicle titles

The buyer and seller are responsible for completing the vehicle payment, title transfer, registration, taxes, inspections and other legal requirements directly between themselves. Garage Bids only collects its separate platform and success fees.

Licensing and legal responsibility

Users are responsible for determining and maintaining any dealer, business, tax, registration, or other licenses required for their activities. Garage Bids provides an online vehicle marketplace and does not determine whether a user is required to hold a particular license.

Requirements differ by state and by how frequently you buy or sell. If you sell vehicles regularly or as a business, check your state's rules and select a commercial account in your profile.

Buyer and seller responsibilities

• Accurately describe the vehicle, its condition, title status and known issues.
• Verify the vehicle and the other party before exchanging money.
• Handle payment, title transfer, registration, taxes and inspections directly.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state and local law.

Fees

Garage Bids charges a $25 listing fee and a $25 success fee when a vehicle sells — $50 total on a successful sale. No commissions, no percentage fees. Buying, browsing and bidding are free. Garage Bids never collects or holds the vehicle purchase price.
