Pricing FAQ
What does it cost to list a vehicle?
Nothing up front. You add a card when you publish so we can collect the flat $25 seller fee if — and only if — your vehicle sells.
When is the $25 seller fee charged?
Only when your vehicle successfully sells. If bidding doesn't reach your reserve or the vehicle doesn't sell, you pay nothing.
What does the winning buyer pay?
A flat $25 buyer fee when they win an auction — the same $25 whether the vehicle sold for $2,500 or $50,000.
Are there any percentage commissions?
No. Garage Bids never takes a percentage of the sale price. Total platform fees on a completed sale are $50: $25 from the seller and $25 from the winning buyer.
Can buyers still ask questions?
Yes. Buyers can ask about condition, maintenance, history, modifications, title status, mechanical issues and features. Detailed listings simply cut out the repetitive basics.
